Sope Otulana is a Consultant in OPM’s Social Development portfolio, with particular interests in social inclusion, citizen engagement and poverty reduction. She currently manages the qualitative workstream of the evaluation of the Voice and Accountability component of a 3-year maternal and child health programme evaluation in Zimbabwe, supports data collection and analysis for cash transfer evaluations in Uganda and Kenya, and is involved in an evaluation of DFID’s policies on violence against women and girls. Prior to joining OPM she worked on child labour issues at the International Labour Organisation, and contributed to research and evaluations on a range of topics including pastoral livelihoods in the Horn of Africa, global social policy on gender equality and social protection at the Institute of Development Studies.
